Stockman, you must be a trader as you can understand both sides. If any of you read the MF board you would know I covered my position soon after I made the post to Paul about being a short. BTW, nice call Ibexx. I went long after the stock toped 150 (75). and caught most of the move. I was bearish after earnings, but not sure the last few days. I may in fact decide to go long now.

My points are still valid and I'm sure Intel is aware of them as is Paul Engel. They're just hoping that the low end doesn't pan out and trying to convince people not to buy into it. Not only would the rise of the low end mean lower margins, but if the PC becomes an appliance there may be NO PLACE in it for Intel. Appliances are controled by appliance companies and they do not want a Trojan Horse in their machine. They would rather go in house or with some off brand that is cheap. Look at Cube and DVD if you don't believe me. If the set-top box is given away with subscriptions then the customer is not going to complain whether they get Intel or not.

Why do the bulls waste their time reading this board if they're so confident in Intel anyways?
