well the war indeed takes people attention away from economy. The wars have very solid economic justification though. It is true that Clinton and Greenspan did nothing to slow down economy when it was needed but even their actions would not bring us to todays lousy conditions. You, of course, blame Bush while I think that Bush pulled few rabits out of his hat to control freefall. When economy started to head south foreign investors started to take their money off the table which was bad but then 9-11 hit. 9-11 not only scared investors but it also hurt industries that depend on transportation which is pretty much all of the major industries. Now it is essential to take actions to reduce the threat. It would be nice if europe would support US but US is not going to to ask for french permission when US security is at stake.
WAR WITH IRAQ IS JUSTIFIED
