Mother Nature must have heard me whining this morning. Wow she works quickly. Today was in the upper 60's here. In fact when I squinted really hard at the thermometer on my porch it looked like it was almost touching the 70 degree line. I had short sleeves on for a while. Wifey and I took Margaret on her first stroll of the neighborhood while the boys raced the warm sun attempting to make the last snowman of the winter. It's a strange new world to Duffy the Wonder Beagle. He was smelling scents that he had yet to discover for he was a tiny pup the last time he saw grass. His snoot was working at 100 miles per hour while he walked at 2 mph. He was in hot pursuit of something the whole time out there. Might have been the thawed out tracks of the neighbors cat who walked by in October. <g> Had some light jazz playing on the porch and it sounded nice as I walked around the property looking for changes. No daffodils. But I think I heard their alarm clock go off. It's amazing what a little dosage of Spring does for a person. Bring on Monday! -Clapper
