No that's not true re 9/11, GST. In the months and weeks leading up to our operations in Afghanistan, there were protests all over the world, as there are now, against a precieved 'war' that did not even yet exist. There was plenty of complacency protests in Europe and in the states, then too.

This despite the fact that the US gave the Taliban many many chances, over a period of months, to give up control of Kabul and turn over the al qeada leaders. They refused both counts.
