Nobody is defending Saddam, Karen. That's your mistaken inference based on the fact you don't like anyone to have an opinion that differs from yours. Sure Saddam is a monster for what's he's doing to the Kurds. But what does that make Bush Sr who told the Kurds if they rebelled, we'd back them. Then he ended the war, went golfing and blew them off to get blown away.
