damn, that post packs a wollop! the interview with chirac was good, he did make some sense, although i don't like that he was laughing at parts when asked about his relationship with saddam. one thing about this war i don't get is why we're actually doing it. because of a beef with bush and saddam? or because he really is a monster who will try to destroy us with his weapons? human rights? oil? are there things we don't know about as the general public that aren't being said because it would scare the bejeezes out of us? and that pneumonia! i'm almost more concerned about that one... a renegade sickness like that could spread real fast - ala WW1's flu that travelled the world a couple times before it was done. scary. I doubt all the "homeland" security would help with that one. I do think it's possible that a fast-spreading illness like that one would wreak more havoc on the general lives of people than all these terror alerts. perhaps they should create a color alert scheme for pneumonia.
