France holds the key to changing the world, and give it liberty; will France act?

"It is time for another French revolution, a peaceful one, that once again would change the world."

The French revolution inspired the world. It was a chaotic revolution from the little I understand about it. But Thomas Jefferson and others were inspired by it and its ideals. So France sent the USA a statue of liberty, and in the USA, citizens mocked such a beastly statue, which they later came to love and took as their symbol.

But today, liberty for many in the world is being held hostage by the very symbol of liberty, the United States of America. The United States, being the dominant power in the world, holds a stranglehold on world institutions, the political and economic ones; and as such, it plays the role of the ultimate authoritarian in world affairs. Considering the alternatives of the past and history, the USA has done a very good job at what it did, much better than any other country may have done in coming up with novel concepts, and institutions.

But being such a predominant superpower for so long -- as you may have already suspected -- has made the USA into the world's greatest monopolist. Any economist would understand such a development and its implications and negative impact in the market place.

And in the world of politics, a monopolist is another word for an authoritarian. And here we find that the very symbol of liberty for the world, the USA, has degenerated into the world's most authoritarian government regarding international affairs. It seeks to run world affairs according to its will and national interest as it sees them. But can the USA be blamed for doing so? No, countries will do what is in their own interests.

The blame lies with the other countries that allow the USA to do so. And so, world countries cower to this authoritarian system, and they go along, afraid or satisfied that the USA will throw them an economic or political bread-crum or bread-crums to bring them along. But for how long are you going to accept this kind of system? How long will the world be allowed to be ruled by such a system as the UN Security Council -- the world's most undemocratic system in structure, function and composition. No such international institution holds so much power in the world, which in itself is practically ruled by the USA. If you believe that democratic political institutions leads to peace, progress and economic prosperity, then you may understand why no institution in the world has done so much harm and damage to retard world progress by its presence -- that has prevented the emergence of true international institutions for problem solving and dispute resolutions.

So here is the key idea. The UN Security Council is a relic of the past, and an institution that is the result of the spoils of a war -- that we are supposed to live with for the rest of our lives. If we can get rid of the Security Council, the world will have no choice now-a-day but to constitute another system to deal with world affairs, and this system, would naturally be democratic. By getting rid of it, we set in motion all the needed factors that will force into the world a new system of dispute resolution and problem solving. This will lead into a cascade of other events that will lead to all kinds of positive changes that we desire.

So how do we practically get rid of the UN Security Council, when the five permanent members (USA, UK, France, China and Russia) who yield veto power, each have an interest in the status quo, and keeping their veto power as a major tool they can use for political influence on world affairs?

The USA will not relinquish its power, and role, naturally unless forced to do so kicking and screaming. For brevity, we will not discuss the UK, China and Russia's interest in building democratic institutions, nor do we need to. The key is to force the USA to accept to change and end the structure, role and function of the UN Security Council, and that can only be done -- considering US domestic politics -- if the USA is forced unwillingly into such a decision. Let us not forget also, that many in the USA would be very glad to see the USA forced from the outside into such a decision, as they know the USA -- itself -- is not likely to make such a decision in today's internal political climate.

The key is France. France, is a champion of democratic values, and social values as well. France is a country that wants world politics to be lead from the center, and believes in international democratic systems. France, is the ONLY country in the world, with a decent size population and economy and democratic system, international leadership, aspires to great influence on the international political scene, wants the world to be lead from the center -- not the left or the right of the political systems, is on the UN Security System, and holds Veto Power, to do the needed job willingly.

So here is the plan to liberate the world from the international politics of the past and make a new peaceful start that will set the world on a path of progress and prosperity and peace.

France as of tomorrow would announce that it is going to veto every single decision of the UN Security Council, no matter what the decision is, or what the decision relates to.

That is it! We are done. The UN Security Council effectively ends and dies!

Time for a new start. You figure the rest. We will not bore you with details. If you believe that democratic institutions bring peace, progress and economic growth, then you may want to write a letter to the French president, telling him "Sir, you truly have within your hands the key to change the modern world forever, and make your mark on history on a grand scale. Please reflect and take this opportunity to act. Don't settle for bread-crums that many countries are going to throw your way or threaten you with in order to prevent you from acting to put an end to the existence of the UN Security Council. Here is your chance to give the world something very precious, that the world will remember you for -- forever. Please act because it is the right thing to do, for yourself, for France, and for the world. It is time for another French revolution, a peaceful one, that once again would change the world. Have courage, and act, now." >>>
