The futures were going down probably because many people were thinking the war was going to be delayed. The oil futures have been getting shorted in large quantities as well. The duration and the magnitude of the interruption of Iraqi and Kuwaiti production will determine how low stocks go and how high prices go. $25 oil or spikes to $50 , thats my prediction.
