St George's Day... also Shakespeare's birthday. Proposed as a holiday in the UK, especially when tendentious old-style LWE types like Ken Livingston propose a St Patrick's Day march in London... mind you I'll probably confuse people by displaying such a centrist view <g> I'd better mention that Ken's courageously pushed through some extremely controversial traffic charging plans, bbc.co.uk confounding the naysayers these are working very well, news.bbc.co.uk and I'm delighted that they're proving so successful.
