What we have is an unintended consequence and the decision making power of the remedy is in the hands of one party. This is America, we believe in equality - that goes to the decision of resolution as well. I don't recall where fluid transfer is tantamount to giving away one's rights. If you can establish a relationship of more than 15 minutes, I can see things more your way. Your sports star example is not a relationship I consider being a contract to raise a child.
