I bought MAENF to hold for a little while, as opposed to being a trading stock. I put some Canyon Resources (CYNR) and USMX away for similar reasons - hold them until others see the value of their properties and management. As for the gold markets, I sold quite a bit back in February and March ( XAU was over 140 ) and missed most of the June decline to XAU-120. I think we need to base here, get over the summer doldrums, and get ready for a moderate move to 140ish again in September. The South African and Australian share are cheap relative to North American shares. Depnding on how brave one is, there might be something tto buy in those sectors.
