No, Mother Nature is very fragile, my friend. I am an avid scuba diver and see first-hand that every little bit of temperature change, pollutants or over-fishing has jarring effects on any ocean eco-system. The bleaching of the coral reefs and the poisoning and developing of wetlands where life itself is born are killing the oceans. And the great herds of tuna and other fishes are no more.

It is the tragic story of the buffalo in the American West all over again. Too much was taken too fast. The species cannoy reproduce themselves fast enough. If not for those who fight hard to make over-fishing illegal things would be even worse. Already half the fish and shrimp you get is from farms. Farm fish is not as good or nutritious. And seafood is the best food source there is for your health. As a result, less good fish in the world means degraded health and overall erosion of human quality of life. It means more cancer, heart problems, etc. And it also emans I have to fly to remote places like Honduras to find a pristine coral reef to dive in.
