United Nations has been an irrelevant costly drag for 20 yrs I call it "The United Nations of Africa" it is now led by a 3rd-World fellow a good man in Koffi Anan, but where is his power base? without Ted Turner's $1 billion infusion, would they be in operation now? for years, member nations did not pay their bills I mean like Germany, France, Russia they let the USA pick up the tab the UN by its very nature will never cosign a warrant for war they never have and never will so despot tyrants like Soddomy will play the UN against the USA how easy !!! they will just request more and more time for Blind Blix to inspect I loved the line heard late last week "Blix couldnt find a smoking gun under his own pillow" Blix was selected for political reasons, not competence reasons this whole UN participation is a joke now Bush has painted himself in the corner remember all the talk about attacking Iraq in October? we had to get going during the favorable winter month weather now we cannot attack, we lost our open window imagine US soldiers in the desert heat midday at 130 degrees we have no credibility anymore and we have alienated most of the entire European continent which never included England we will not attack Iraq been saying it for months now we accomplished our mission though ESTABLISH A MILITARY BASE PRESENCE IN THE MIDEAST / jim
