In reality, they're probably a little worried about Blair..

It is abundantly clear Blair is in it until the end. He knows that his ultimate salvation is when Saddam is removed and it becomes clear to the public the war was the correct action. Same with Bush.

Press reports notwithstanding, Blair understands that the current sentiment of his constituency is meaningless and unimportant, just as it is for Bush here.
