You could be right. All I know is that AMAT is cluster fixated and they are pushing process sequence integration.

On another note, Prudential downgraded LRCX and KLA today. Hope this fever isn't catching.

On a third note, I wrote a long tomb to the thread via AOL last evening that never made it due to the whims of AOL's reliability.
I won't repeat it, but the jist of it was that I recieved mutual fund statements from four AIM funds that I own and I summarized the holdings and investment values in various equipment stocks. The names of the investments were the obvious ones,ie LAM, AMAT, KLA, Novellus,SVG. The amounts were mind boggling - like 1.5 million shares of AMAT. From the date of the report, one of the funds had like a $500 million profit in this sector. These are the movers and shakers. It is easy to see if they make a decision to move in or out of a stock, it has a huge impact.
