Not quite. You see, as the creator of the Don't Start the War thread I got lots of private messages from folks. And I assure you that because of the obnoxious behavior of a few, a few bright minds didn't participate in that very important debate. Now I have to weight this: a) Would I prefer the input of reasoned and critical thinkers? or, b) Would I prefer the input of some crackpots who have no intention other than the disrupt what otherwise would be a great debate, and who have no other intent but to insult and gross out the debate's participants? Which would you pick, Tech Master? Bottom line is everyone is free to participate here. But just as a shouting lunitic would be bounced from the halls of congress or an obnoxious drunk (does anyone post drunk?) would be tossed from a bar, so will be the creep who attempts to make this board creepy. Conclusion? Folks will moderate themselves off of this thread. My role, as moderator, is to take into consideration the feelings of others and act accordingly. I tried very hard, I did my level best, to make the best debate forum possible with Don't Start the War. And it is from the politics of that experience that Stop the War is today a moderated forum.
