Exactly, the French aren't opposing the U.S. just for the hell of it. They are taking a lot of heat for their position against the U.S.'s Iraq policy. It's all about protecting their oil interests in the region. CNBC even had a story about how the biggest French oil company has a relationship with Iraq and that is probably the reason why they are oppossing the U.S. invasion of Iraq. The French will lose out big when we take over Iraq. It's all about BIG OIL and BIG MONEY politics. Always was and always will be.
