Here is an intraday chart on TRIB.

139.142.147.22

I think what is happening to most little stocks is that the MM's are getting caught in a daily short squeeze. Not many market maker firms carry "inventory" anymore do to the volitility of the market, so they short the stock to buyers at x price during the day. Later in the day the begin the ol' 100 share hit the bid thing and cover in the last few minutes of the day to close flat on their books. However, the game has now changed for them as retail shorts and new buyers are coming in at the end of the day and driving the price away from them, causing the strong closes we have been seeing.

Least that is my take on it. LOL
