I hope we DO get raptured out of here before the Tribulation. I have said before that would be great. We need patience and prayer to understand anything.

I have the idea that we should be looking for an "Ark" that the Lord will show us how to build. It took Noah a long time to build his Ark. So I may not be pre-mature at this stage to be thinking about it. And things are shaping up out there.

These are some quotes I always seem to be thinking about.

My people perish for lack of knowledge.....

The complacency of fools will kill them.....

I agree with you that those who are to be saved will not take the mark, or they will repent quickly afterwards. I think it will just feel wrong and they will hang back and the Holy Spirit will be saying no. And then there will be those who expected it that the Lord will use to lead some to safety. I hope. Some hopefully will be saved afterwards. I think there is a way to remove yourself from the system, but at a cost.

As for tribulation and the wrath of God, in I Thessalonians 5 Paul is talking to them about the Day of the Lord. He says to them that they know what's going to happen and he has no need to write of those things. For us though I wish he had been more detailed. Paul says in verse 9 "For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ"...

Going back to that article. At the 6th trumpet 4 angels that were bound at the river Euphrates are released to kill a third of mankind. There is a 200 million man army also. China is the only country in the world that can amass that large an army. And they are in the east, not the USA. We are the west, we always have been. And we don't have 200 million men. The description of the battle sounds like chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons will be used. That would have to be so to kill a third of mankind. It could be that Bush's war and occupation of Iraq could start a chain of events that could lead to a US/China confrontation some years in the future over the issue of the occupation of Iraq. That would be an all out and desperate war and nobody would win that one.
