I took the dog for a walk after listening to Shrub's speech
to help me fell less sad.

There was a nice full moon out there. Bright.
But it cast long eerie shadows extending out from the
base of the bare trees. They made me uneasy.

I looked up at the sky. It was midnight blue with a light haze.
Each star I stared at looked back at me in disappointment of us.
There was a frown on most of them. Some just looked sad.

Venus was crying.

But that was more because I kept calling her Jupiter by
mistake.
Venus sure is a sensitive planet...

I really should get a map of the night sky.
Even my dog knew it was Venus.

He called me an idiot and tried to pretend he wasn't
associated with me. But then I smiled and gave a gentle
tug as a reminder that he wasn't fooling anybody as long as
this leash was attached to him.

The dog then gave me a dirty look and asked, "Are all you
humans as stupid as that fuckin' president of yours?"

He hasn't spoken to me since.
