He's been a buyer as have other insiders Oh right, that huge 1000 shares. At that rate he'll have his position rebuilt sometime in 2011. When are the shorts going to cover 2,000,000 shares I'd be willing to bet -- not that we could ever settle it -- that in fact 2 million shares HAVE been covered since the short interest leveled off in July 2001. It's just that the shares have been re-shorted, and in some cases re-covered and re-shorted again and again. So what you REALLY mean is, when is the company going to make its stock undesirable to short? That, I wouldn't know the answer to.
