Yes, the spread is consistantly around $1. That is because of a small float
( 5 million shares ). Total shares outstanding are around 10 million. I've followed
this company since it went public in December 1994 ( around the bottom of the market ). It is underfollowed but consistantly mentioned as a long term favorite by Robert Kern, who analyzes small cap equities for Morgan Grenfell Capital Management. The only other broker that I know which follows it is H&Q.
If it survives the current semiconductor downturn it should to well - long term that is.
