The talk about making Iraq democratic and a better for its people is just talk.

What kind of remark is this? I think it is rather obvious that we can only improve the situation for the Iraqi people. And why would we be opposed to moving Iraq toward democracy? Qatar has made the move with what can only be called a resounding success. Iran is in the process. The Saudis have indicated they are interesting in adopting "some democratic characteristics".

It would appear that Bush is giving Iraq a little nudge in the right direction.

Just for the record, can you name a people who, given a choice between democracy and dictatorship, have chosen dictatorship?
