Hi Soraramoa, RE: "if he is going to proclaim war I think their are a lot of people who think he is committing a crime against mankind"

The majority of the world's population, including UK citizens per a poll, would concur with you. You are not alone. You are in the majority.

John (who is against war) brings up a good point - there are less costly and more effective ways to handle this.

War is an acknowledgement of political failure. It's an embarrassment. A leader with international finesse would have the abilitity to convince the world to work with him or her as well as factor in their methodologies, rather than being essentially alone, and instead, in a way that gained effective results. The world, for the most part, concurs that SH is a tyrant - the issue is, how it is handled.

We need a gov't leader to be more internationally aware, that has attended a diverse school where s/he has absorbed the thoughts of the international community into his/her intellect, so they are then better at gathering up international influence - with a net result that's way more effective and less costly (to life & money).

Additionally, there are more effective ways to handle it, that don't stir up trouble in other countries.

One very dear-to-me and highly respected foreign business leader was stabbed several times and had his (rather large) business completely burned down to the ground years ago in a foreign country due to riots. His business was targeted many years ago, simply because his business happened to look "new and large."

This same country is now preparing to protect their businesses from potential riots this week due to Bush's war. It's also a country that Intel has recently poured money into and has recently built a new building as well as has ownership of other buildings.

Yes, there are more effective ways to handle a tyrant and definitely better ways to talk/position the issue and solve the problem, than killing innocent citizens and generating the potential for riots that hurt both international & USA businesses.

Regards,
Amy J PS People use humankind these days - mankind is a bit outdated.
