Maybe it's because everyone including Alan Greenspan have said once the Iraq situation is resolved, the economy will recover. Maybe they are right or maybe they are wrong, but Cmvt and Adbe seem to indicate things aren't getting worse. I have my doubts that Iraq is the root of the economic weakness, especially with companies like Amat continuing to lay off. If they thought Iraq was going to solve their demand problem, why lay off now? We'll see in the next few months how the economy recovers. TA
