i found what others describe as the best book existing in print regards Kamikaze. I have found many references to their having no landing gear but no source actually describing the engineering of this. I did find a Nazi history site describing how they(the Nazis) had figured out how to design a "no landing gear plane"(and built them) but nothing regards Japan. But i am sure the answer is in this book. But i note the German article states that the German design was exclusively " A suicide plane", where as the japanese Kamikaze design was NOT exclusively designed for suicide missions.
