Tim, did you notice this part of that article. Ted is trying to claim Saddam is a not so terrible guy, in that Saddam has only killed 500,000. This guy claims Saddam is responsible for over 2 million.

Did you notice that this is the perfunctory leader of Kurdistan. Of course, you noticed but you'd rather play stupid and make like this guy is telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

And btw, where were you and your deep sympathy for the Kurds ten ago when they were fleeing Iraq after they had revolted against Saddam, expecting the assistance of the US only to be forfeited by Bush Sr.?

I know this won't stop you at your game; you have a partisan perspective that must justify this upcoming war but the following link is from the US State Dep't. Please note the State Dept talks about Anfal deaths being in the neighborhood of 5k and not 182k like the Kurd leader suggests, or the numbers that Joe was bandying about. Please also note that the State Dep't talks in terms of thousands when it discusses how many people Saddam has seen killed and not the millions D. Ray has suggested.

You may also notice that when your president talks about the evil Saddam, he never gets very specific even when mentioning the atrocities committed by Saddam. He speaks in vague generalities because the truth is Saddam is a TWO BIT DICTATOR certainly not warranting all the attention he's gotten, all the lives that will be lost in this war, and all the money that will be spent plus the devisiveness created within and without this country amongst ourselves and with our allies.

Previously, you called me an idiot savante; well I'm afraid Bush and his followers don't even have the "savante" going for them.

Have a good one, cheesehead!
