Human rights...it's not even necessary to pull historical information where the US has supported countries that violate human rights. We can take this very Administration and Afghanistan.

The US correctly accused the Taliban of human rights violation under their regime. In particular, directed at women. Cruel stuff....unquestionably, human rights violations.

Now Afghanistan is "liberated" and the UN recently reported that the treatment of women in Afghanistan remains largely the same. And probably worse in the rural areas and in areas under US control. The differentiator for the US it appears is not whether there are human rights violations, it's whether the regime that conducts human rights violations is pro-US.
