Some questions-
we support China by buying everything they make- yet we know they use slave labor, torture their citizens, and people disappear or go into Gulags for political crimes- yet they have most favored nation status! How could this be?

the Chinese took Tibet, wrecked the Buddhist temples and killed the monks- much worse than anything that has happened in Iraq- why didn't we do anything? Because we are chickens?

How many people have been killed in China? Look it up. You'll be surprised. Then check out how many have been imprisoned or killed in Tibet.

I do not support dictators of any kind. I don't support Saddam, but I don't support war with him either, not because he isn't a really bad guy- he is- although I happen to think the Chinese are much worse. I don't support war with Iraq because I think it is wrong for this country. We are buying ourselves a future of enmity in the Mid East. You may think it is worth it- you may thing we can deal with the results, I think you are mistaken. I have never been gung ho for imperialism not the economic kind, and not the moral kind- this is a twisted mess of both, and I'm not for it. Imperialists inevitably get their heads handed to them. It will happen to us, too, I suspect. I'd rather not waste the money in the ME to finance such a debacle. Oh we may win the battles, but we will lose the war.
