When dealing with other countries, I would like world approval- not because of them, but because of the safety for us. When we go it alone, we tend to blow it. I like the safety check on our actions the UN represents. This war is ill considered and rash- and I hope we don't suffer blowback from it for the rest of our lives, but I suspect we will.
