I just wish that the U.S. Gov't would stop subsidizing tobacco growers.

I'm not a big fan of smoking, but I think it is ridiculous that people are able to offload their responsibility for their own health through their own foolishness.

Seriously, do we need the surgeon general to tell us that smoking isn't good for us? Shit, the first time you breathe the stuff in and it makes you cough like a mofo.

At some point, our society is going to have to start holding individuals responsible for their own mistakes. Just because MO or RJR is a big corporation, doesn't make them evil. Though, of course, it doesn't mean that they are not evil either.:-)

Too much, our society is viewing big business as the enemy, when in fact, they are providing jobs to millions of people and are a vital part of our economy. I'd rather have MO as part of our economy rather than to have the gov't hand out more welfare.
