France has played their diplomatic hand and, in so doing, has mesmerized those who refuse to look behind their veil...It remains to be seen what are the longer term implications for the UN. It also remains to be seen how long-lasting is the standing ovation they have received for the seeming display of transparent chicanery strutted out by them on the world stage...
