Dear Kevin: I read a lot about people being concerned about John Ascroft, but when I read the proposed law changes I dont read anything that really bothers me. If we are going to have even a chance at rooting out terrorism at home we are going to HAVE to give up some Privacy. So far, so good, so far as attacks go. So, it would seem to me that he and Tom Ridge must be doing something right. In any event, its really too soon to judge IMHO, the combining of all the departments and the turf battles that MUST be raging are going to take some time to settle out. jdn
