That was the financial cost,what about the other costs? Human lives, status in the world opinion? OK, OK, I have a good idea what some will say. Who gives a%&*$#@& about world opinion when we are going to trounce all them bastard anyway. Ya, the kick ass mentality. What a treat. What you call raining on your parade just happens to be reality. Maybe your not into that. Afganistan was not about resources, but about running a pipeline from the Caspian Sea oil fields to a Pakistan port. The same reason the Russian's tried to take Afganistan and the US supported OBL to stop them. So the blood for oil show will go on and the US public can cream their jeans watching it, they should hope to, because they will be paying for it big time later and the only ones to profit will be the oil companies.
