The list is interesting in that it contains many victims of past aggressors or dictators. I would say that Afghanistan, Estonia, Albania, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, and Uzbekistan all remember what it is like to live under the thumb of a violent dictator. |
