Bob, I sold both my kidneys to buy stocks, so there is a bit of mania today. I was about to sell one of my lungs when visions of Nancy Reagan came into my head. In Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, you definitely get an odd vision of the stock market re the bucket shops and the like, but really how much different are the bucket shops of that day from the option markets of today... except for the fact, of course that we have to pay huge premiums on options instead of the amazingly favorable margin of the '20's(& of course you have a risk of losing more than all w/ 90% margin, but lets not get too picky). I don't think today is too comparable with the '20's, but do think we have a good risk for 40% down. Or we should, anyways.
