Thomas,

Anyone who has taken Political Science 101 (for the purpose of this message I'll assume you have) will concede that the way questions are asked will generally determine the result of the poll. Further, the way that result is reported can influence future polls. Think about it, have you ever heard a politician admit that his poll numbers are dropping?

It is a legitimate news story to explore the source of funds behind political groups. Would you not be curious about, for example, where pro-life groups get their money?

If there are any factual errors in the story you linked to, state them. I'll support your demand for a retraction and apology from Fox News.

Personally, I believe that there is a significant "anti-American" population in this country, driven by many different ideologies (pro-environment, animal rights, anti-genetically modified foods, socialist, gun-control, feminists, anti-World Trade Organization, anti-corporate, anti-Tobacco, anti-Oil, etc.)

I'm suspicious (from personal experience) that many in your community belong to more than one of the above groups. Is that a coincidence? Or are they (you) simply "enlightened"?

I have read your posts for some time, and responded to several (when I could not ignore the disrespect you show to logic and reason). You have yet to provide a rational response. I'm beginning to suspect that you live for your politics. If so, I pity you.
