North American Semiconductor Equipment Industry Posts February 2003 Book-to-Bill Ratio of 0.99 As you can see by looking at the data, the Book to Bill increase is merely a reflection of continued decreases in Billings. Last Sept. actually saw 20% more semiconductors sold but a book to bill of .80 Therefore, the current (preliminary) book-to-bill shows that sales are getting worse, not better. best...
