I read your thread a lot and have learned a lot, by being exposed to all sides.
But moving on, I want to to comment on the "coldness" the COLD MILITARY approach of our media.. From CNN to MSNBC.. Their "experts" for commentary on this crisis for a long time, EVEN political, are all ex-military, retired three or four thousand stars of this or that, giving their thoughts, agenda on the situation.. I have seen damn few truly PATRIOTIC American thinkers.. from Jimmy Carter to "The Georges" Mitchell to McGovern .. Just a few of many examples..
Where are we living ? Iraq?, Never, No, Nada, I hope NOT.. I thought we were living in the USA, where the military is just a seldom used tool to protect our American values and not to exspouse a militaristic agenda..
Have we BECOME so RECENTLY, IN JUST A COUPLE OF YEARS what we are trying to OVERCOME ? Or is it more sinister?
I hope not..
