EIMS--I respect everyone who commits themselves for America. Were Saddam himself coming in your backyard to get you, and I was next door and saw him, I'd run over and tackle him.

Let's get one thing straight so you don't have to ramble on, thinking yourself on some higher degree of patriotism level than myself.

Your actions support putting those troops into battle where they will die, as will innocent civilians who did nothing; my actions support bringing those troops home to their loved ones, and keeping them and those innocent Iraqi civilians alive.

Your actions seem to agree that America's unilateral strategy is the best way to go; my actions are in the belief that the full weight of the United Nations, with permenant weapons inspectors, permanent peacekeepers and a permanent no-fly zone over Iraq accomplishes the same objectives without endangering our soldiers and their civilians.

By the way, one of the reasons why the Pentagon Papers were so well-received--and believe me, they were--is because soldiers at that time were weary of fighting a war no one wanted. The Pentagon Papers, if anything, showed the reasons why Vietnam began, why it continued and proved it should have been stopped.

And if you examine how the Bush Admnistration has presented this war not only to America, but to the world, there are terrifying parallels when it comes to the well-being and welfare of America's sons and daughters who are being asked to wage an unnecessary war in Iraq.

In a nutshell, your action is for war; my action is for peace--no reason to hate me, is it? Heck, I even offered to tackle Saddam for you--lol!
