TIKRIT: Hussein's hometown vows guerrilla struggle chicagotribune.com I thought this article was very interesting, although I wonder how much of its content was forced on the reporter as the price of getting the story out. Especially interesting to read about numbers of muslim volunteer fighters incoming from other arab countries. If Tikrit really is a genuine pocket of committed support for Saddam, it might be one of the the uglier complications facing the US, militarily and PR-wise.
