Did the futures just drop suddenly, or am I seeing bad data?

Here's some fun info from a futures arbitrage trader I know:

"It appears that the futures have risen 100 points on about 35 contracts/12 trades since about 6:00 NYT, 60 points on one trade. There are virtually no sellers, and the "margin" cost of the deal was about $550,000. How much value did they add to the DJIA for that price?"

That message was just after 8 a.m.
