Amy, RE: Remind me, the next time a Bush gets into office, to invest into his friends' firms. But next time, is there a way a person could get a list of these firms ahead of time.

Of course, oil and gas stocks performed much better in Clinton's last couple of years in office than they have in Bush's. Also, Bush's chief supporters in the oil and gas industry were on the exploration and production side. They won't get any benefit at all from the rebuilding process in Iraq.

I am as quick as anyone to criticize Bush, as you well know, Amy, but I think you're off base here.

And, of course, this is no different than Gore and Clinton padding the pockets of their buddies (Molten Metal Technology, for example).
