I hope your son or daughter came home safely. I hope you're not proposing that we compete for whose family has sacrificed the most in the wars of the 20th century.

I was responding to your question as to what Canada has contributed to the West's efforts to support democracy or whatever.

You still have not responded to the tardy and reluctant entries of the US into WW I (1917 I belive) and II (only after Pearl Harbour) and their isolationist policies at the time. I admit that you did help the Brits with ships and supplies.
