Going to bars, skiing and visiting friends in Arizona is somehow un-American. Come on now. We live in a free country. I'm free to do as I please. I'm not hurting anyone. I'm also a hard working American. I'm just taking the time to enjoy the fruits of my labor. Americans are too concerned with work, work, work anyway. There's more to life then just working all the time. That's why Europeans get 4 or 5 weeks vacation, while Americans are lucky to get 2 weeks.
