You don't actually think Bush has a prayer at winning in 04 do you? I'm thinking its a replay of the 1982 Reagan victory against Carter.

And speaking of Carter similarities, anybody notice how haggard Bush looked last night?

Errrrr... Reagan defeated carter in 1980, not 1982.

I honestly don't see a lot of similarities between Bush II and Carter. I see more similarities between Bush I and Bush II, the problem is Bush II doesn't have the nearly the diplomatic talent of Bush I. Even if we get Saddam and find WMD in Iraq to prove Bush's case, his diplomacy over the past year has been nothing short of disastrous. We've gone from a world extremely sympathetic to America in September 2001, to a world railing against America today.

Did the Talaban need to go? Oh yeah, but it needed to go several years ago. Does Saddam need to go? Yep... but I can't help feeling that this should have been handled differently. Bush is looking too short-term, and ignoring the long-term ramifications of his actions.
