Yes, I've got to agree that a good number of ventures were built on very shakey ground. But, the bubble bursting not only hurt a good number of previously 'solid' businesses, but also has severely repressed venture capital and cap ex spending on new technology.

As far as the 'Clinton' comment; it's funny how Republicans seem to have a motto that people should take individual responsibility, but that doesn't seem to apply when *their* leaders are in. Bush has made the situation much worse, and the countries economic confidence is down sharply because of it.
