re: ANWR.... a victory for the environmentalists a loss for Bush...not that he is focused on it at the moment..if America wants a 50 year plus secure supply of oil then it should join with Canada and further develop the Athabasca Oilsands in Northern Alberta..there is more recoverable oil there than in the whole middle east....all deliverable by pipeline...IMO the US should have been involved there years ago then the Arab world with all its problems would have been something we read about in National Geographic.
