I can respect and understand that viewpoint. I think that, if everything goes the way he wants it to, you may be right on the terrorism front. But, we could go the way of Israel, where escaladingly aggressive tactics have merely escaladed the violence.

On the economic front, I think his 'policies' have been misguided. He must think so too, as he has fired his top advisors. I'll give him credit for at least trying to find some that can get the job done. One of the previous pokes at him is that he is too loyal to staff that do their job, even if they are not up to the job. Let's see how the new ones do.

Now, if he'd only see the light on Ashcroft... :)
