Ref < As for this inciting more terroist attacks. Maybe but ask youself what war incited 9/11? >

Desert Storm incited Al Qaida. The entry of Christian US troops into the "Holy Land of Saudi Arabia" was viewed as a sacrilege to Islam by Bin Laden. Perceived "US arrogance" by Moslems ( due to US insensitivity to the suffering of the Palestinians), led to the stream of Bin Laden followers. This culminated in 9/11, ten years later.

The US invasion of an Arab country will incite a lot more people. The number of volunteers for Al Qaida will increase dramatically. Luckily for US, Al Qaida is temporarily crippled and will not be able to train the new recruits now. However in a few years the number of terrorist attacks will increase dramatically.
